EITING, KENNETH C.

Kenneth Eiting, age 63, of Kaukauna, died unexpectedly on Saturday, January 10, 2009. Kenneth was born on August 14, 1945, in Appleton, to the late Urban and Lillian (Rademacher) Eiting. He married Mary Collins on September 5, 1966 in Kaukauna. In addition to being a good provider, Ken was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He especially enjoyed the time spent with his grandchildren. Ken enjoyed hunting and fishing in the North Woods, bowling and card playing. He was a devoted employee of Lakes Gas Company, Kaukauna, and was the former manager of Hilgy's Gas Company in Three Lakes. Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Mary; his children, Ken Eiting, Appleton; Sharon (Al) Schroeder, Appleton; Robert (Jane) Eiting, Kaukauna; Tracy (Greg) DeJong, Kaukauna; his grandchildren, Emily, Kendra and Katie Schroeder; Nick and Zach Eiting; and Tia, Lili and Jayce DeJong. He is further survived by his sister, Margaret Ann Eiting, Kaukauna; his sisters-in-law, Karen Eiting, Kaukauna, and Kathy (Steve) Agg, West Bend; his brothers-in-law, Gene (Lin) Collins, Kaukauna; Ben ( Lynne) Collins, Kaukauna; and Greg (Diane) Collins, Kaukauna; his Godmother, EllaMae VandeWettering, Kaukauna; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brothers Ted and Allen. The Funeral Liturgy will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 14, 2009, at ST. KATHERINE DREXEL—ST. FRANCIS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 433 County CE, Hollandtown, with Fr. Jerry Pastors officiating. Friends may call at the Fargo Funeral Home, 400 West Wisconsin Avenue, Kaukauna on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and again directly at the church on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Kaukauna. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the entire New London Family Medical Center Emergency Staff for their loving care. A memorial has been established in Ken's name.
