Frances ( left a message on April 6, 2009:
I want you to know how sorry I am about Ken\'s death. I know that each of you will miss him deeply. However, there is some comfort in knowing that his soul has been set free and he is now resting in the everlasting arms of God. Regardless of the age or circumstance of death, in dying we must celebrate the life one had. I will be with you in spirit tomorrow as you celebrate Ken\'s life...recalling who he was, what he did, what he stood for, and what he meant to each of you. In sadness at his passing but in gratitude for his legacy, the words of the poet Longfellow seem appropriate: "Were a star quenched on high, For ages would its light Still traveling downward from the sky Shine on mortal sight. So when a great man dies, For years beyond our ken The light he leaves behind him lies Upon the paths of men." May the warm memories of Ken sustain you in your time of sorrow. Please know that my prayers are with you. -Frankie Stroker
