Age 20, passed away at Children's Hospital in Wauwatosa after a struggle with Ewing Sarcoma on Friday, June 17, 2011. She was born in Appleton on October 16, 1990 the daughter of Daniel Wittman and Laurie Du Charme. She graduated from Appleton North High School in 2009. Kayla enjoyed photography and worked as a photo technician at Wal-mart. She also enjoyed putting together photo albums. Kayla was a “people person” and well- liked by everyone who knew her. She was a very loving mother and was proud of her son, Orlando.

Kayla is survived by her son, Orlando Wittman of Appleton; fiancé, Floyd Brewer of Kimberly; parents: Daniel Wittman of Appleton and Laurie Du Charme of Menasha; sister, Michelle Barden of Menasha; grandparents: Olga Wittman and special friend, Jim Casper, Leroy Wittman, all of Appleton, David (Barb) Du Charme Menasha, and Diane (John) Bentley of Appleton.

The memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 24, 2011 at the Wichmann Funeral Home, TRI-COUNTY CHAPEL, Menasha. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service.

The family extends a special thank you to Children's Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Theda Clark Hospital in Neenah, and Previa Doctors in Green Bay for their compassionate care. They treated Kayla and the whole family like they were members of their own families.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund in Kayla's name is being established.
