Kayla you will be missed, but one day we will meet again. Now your in a better place with all the angels free from pain and no more suffering. You were a wonderful person and you will never be forgotten. I'm sorry for not making it to your service, but under certain circumstances I wasn't able to make it. Know that your family and son are in my prayers.

To Kayla's Family, I had the honor of working with Kayla at Walmart for the last three years. As her supervisor, she brightened the room! No matter how bad your day was, she always took the time to make it better. I loved her long beautiful hair and her sparkling eyes. She always talked about Orlando and Floyd. She loved them so much. She was a great friend. I will miss her every day.. Erin

To Orlando, Floyd and Kayla's family, I was Kayla's Teen Parenting teacher at North High School. My husband Scott was also her ceramics teacher. We are so heart broken about the news of Kayla's passing. Kayla was such a wonderful student to have in class. She always had a huge smile that lit up the room. She was a hard worker, and a great mom! She always asked questions to better herself as a parent. She had a fun, great, intriguing personality that made everyone who knew her love her. I want Orlando to know that his mom loved him very much and always talked about him in class. She was so proud of him! Flody I have never met you but I imagine you are a wonderful person if Kayla loved you so much. I am so sorry for your loss. To Kayla's family our deepest condolences. Rene' and Scott Braun

Don't think of her as gone away- her journey's just begun, life holds so many facets- this earth is only one. Just think of her as resting from the sorrows and the tears In a place of warmth and comfort where there are no days and years Think how she must be wishing that we could know today how nothing but our sadness can really pass away. And think of her as living in the hearts of those she touched..... for nothing loved is ever lost- and she was loved so much. In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always. Tammy & Elian y Gabriel
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

My thoughts and prayers to Kayla's family and friends. She will truly be missed by everyone. We were all blessed to have her touch our lives. It will always give me a chuckle when I remember how shy Kayla and Darlene were when they were children. Neither one of them would walk across the street to introduce themselves to the other. Thank God for the boys in the neighborhood scrapping or the girls would never have met. God bless you Kayla and thank you for your beautiful smile and the laughs.

I am saddened to read in the paper this morning about Kayla. I had Kayla in a couple of classes at KHS. I will remember her as being sweet, happy, and she worked hard in my classes. My prayers go to her son and family as they try to adjust to life without her. She will be missed.
