Kathryn Kosloski

November 29, 1938 — September 9, 2012

Kathryn “Kay” Ann Kosloski, age 73, passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2012, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. She was born on November 29, 1938, the daughter of the late George and Anna (Witkowski) Sahotsky. Kay graduated from Menasha High School in 1957, and furthered her education at Fox Valley Technical School for insurance adjusting courier. Kay worked 12 years at Milwaukee Insurance Claims in Appleton and over six years at Integrity Mutual Insurance Company in Appleton. Kay loved her family first and then the Packers. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and our Sunday Family dinners. Kay loved to read, work her crossword puzzles, music, and dancing.
Kay is survived by three daughters, Julia(Mike) Schnese, Toni (Rick) Franke, and recently reunited daughter, Wendy (Bill) Carr, two granddaughters Dylan Schnese and Chelsea Franke, and two grandsons, Elliott Franke and Ryan McNew, one sister, Patricia Diehl, one brother, George Sahotsky, many nieces and nephews that will miss their Auntie Kasha. Further survived by many dear friends and other relatives. Kay was preceded in death by her husband Tom Kosloski, and one brother, Robert (Marilyn) Sahotsky one nephew, Mike Sahotsky, and one brother-in-law, Robert Diehl.
Memorial service for Kay will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, September 13, 2012, at Wichmann Funeral Home, 3212 South Oneida Street, with Pastor Tim Albrecht officiating. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service. Inurment will take place at a later date at Resthaven Cemetery in Menasha. Special thank you to the Emergency room staff at St. Elizabeth Hospital for all the loving care and comfort that was given to Mom. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
We will deeply miss her feisty spirit and her Polish swearwords. Mom, now you don't have to be “sick and tired of being sick and tired” anymore.
