Kathleen R. Lonsway

Age 60, passed away at her home on Wednesday, April 7, 2004, following a struggle with cancer. Kathie was born in Rockford, Illinois, daughter of the late Gordon and Burnetta (Carlson) Lofgren. She was a student at East Rockford High School, and on December 23, 1961 married Tom in Rockford. Over the years, she has been actively involved with Tom in their business ventures. Later, she enjoyed her role as a bridal consultant, and enjoyed working with china, crystal, and silver. She enjoyed travel, especially to Europe, but most of all enjoyed her nearly annual visits to her beloved England with Tom. Kathie’s love of travel allowed her to expand her interest in photography.

Survivors include her husband: Thomas Lonsway of Appleton; a daughter: Debra (Michael) Hitchcock of Appleton and their children Melissa Ertman and Garrett Ertman; two sons: Robert (Ashlyn) Lonsway of Appleton and their children Kyle, Carson, and Cavan; Steven (Sara) Lonsway of Grand Chute and their daughter Hanna Lonsway; two brothers-in-law: Peter (Pamela) Lonsway of Rockford, Illinois and their children Peter R. Lonsway and Amanda Lonsway; David (Sharon) Lonsway of Rockford, Illinois, and their children Michael (Karen) Lonsway, Janet (Javier) Castrejon, and Kimberly (Dan Waldorf) Lonsway; a niece: Aliesha Partridge and her father Al Partridge. Kathie was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister-in-law Dianne Partridge.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, April 10, 2004 at 4:00 PM. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from1:00 PM until the hour of the service.
