Kathleen Lindgren

Kathleen Lindgren, age 75, of Brookfield, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Oakridge Gardens. Kathleen was born to the late Fredrick and Catherine (Touhy) Delsing on July 20, 1939. She graduated from an all-girl Catholic High School in Chicago in 1959. Kathleen was a fighter and made it known by surviving 25 years after she was first diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.

Faith was a very important part of Kathleen's life. Her family was always held dear to her heart. She would never turn away time to spend with her family and friends. Kathleen taught ceramics and met many friends through this gift. She was an amazing seamstress and had made many pieces of clothing from scratch, including Holly's wedding dress. She golfed avidly until the day she couldn't any more. Kathleen loved cats and watching wild birds.

Kathleen is survived by her children: Holly (Don) Keenan and their children Matt and Austin, and Garett (Marcy) and their children Jennifer and Rebecca; and a sister-in-law Anita Lindgren. She is preceded in death by both of her parents; husband Warren; and her sister Maureen Delsing.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2015, at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME TRI-COUNTY CHAPEL, 1592 Oneida Street, Menasha. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services.

All memorial contributions may be offered to the Fox Valley Humane Association.

Kathy's family would like to thank the staff at Oakridge Gardens Nursing Center, where Kathy resided for many years and ThedaCare Hospice during the past six months for the outstanding, compassionate care Kathy received. You are truly dedicated to providing great care to those you serve. May God bless all of you to the fullest.
