Kathleen C. Le Gault

Kathleen C. Le Gault, age 89, of Appleton, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2013 at the Matthews of Appleton. She was born on April 3, 1924, in Appleton, the daughter of the late Alton and Marian (Kopanski) La Plante. Kathleen had a love of children and was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and childcare provider to many families. She loved to play cards on Saturday nights with her dad and his friends. Kathleen loved to play cribbage and dance at weddings. She was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church.
Kathleen is survived by her children: Dennis (Christine) Le Gault of Appleton and Sandra (Paul) De Ruyter of Freedom; grandchildren: Brian Le Gault and Scott Le Gault of Appleton and Michelle (Joshua) Dobbins of Hopkins, Minnesota; Kimberly De Ruyter of Kaukauna and Michael (Amy) De Ruyter of Green Bay; great-grandsons: Aidyn and Ryan Corrigan and Everett Dobbins; sister: Virginia Ulman of Appleton; brother: Eugene La Plante of Appleton; and her special friend: Don Du Chateau of Appleton. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Kathleen was preceded in death by her brothers: Francis and Theodore La Plante; brother-in-law, Ervin Ulman; and sister-in-law, Joan La Plante.
The funeral liturgy for Kathleen will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at St. Therese Catholic Church, Morrison Street at Wisconsin Avenue, Appleton. Fr. William Hoffman will be officiating. Interment will take place at St. Mary Cemetery in Appleton. A time of visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 9:30 am until the time of mass.
