I grew up in the court with Katie. We, my sisters and I had so much fun playing with her in the woods and along the tracks. I have such fond memories of her. I pray that God will comfort you and give you a peace that only He can give. You all will be in my prayers in the days and months to come. Marilyn Breitbach Dragosh

Dear Lucy and Family, I am so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I always remember the fun times we had in high school at your house and those great dinners that she made. She was quiet (at least when I was around) and had a strong presence. What a great and kind heart she had. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this very difficult time. I wish I lived closer so I could attend the service and I am sorry I cannot be there. Lucy, please feel free to e-mail me - I'd love to get together again at some point. Again, my condolences, Jenny "Haldiman" Malueg

Chuck and family ~ Katie has been so many things to me...My friend, encourager,confidant,challenger,mentor...Katie laughed with me and she cried with me....she was always there to share her wisdom! When parenting was tough she often reminded me that this is what God has called us to do and to stay faithful for if we didn't who would! She was always there to give me strength when I couldn't seem to find any! She delighted in giving....it brought her so much joy....she always considered her self last...Her life has spoke mountains to me and I will cherish every minute she gave to me for it is a blessed gift given to me that will always be held very dear to my heart! Katie may not be with us anymore but her legacy will live on...we have some big shoes to fill..All of you are very special to us...Kaite I love you and will miss you until the day I see you in His Glory.....

So sorry, Chuck and kids for your loss. I have many fond memories of grade school and high school with Katie, her mom and dad, newspaper delivering, West 7th St., and "Dogtown." She was an amazing person - wish I would have re-connected more lately. Was at your house for our "reunion" a few years ago. Thanks for that. I will keep her, you, and your entire family in my thoughts and prayers. Until we meet again, my friend. "Bell"

Chuck and family, My deepest condolences and prayers to all of you. I played games with Katie & Chris on facebook. We would chat back in forth. She was a sincere and wonderful woman, who could cheer you up on a cloudy day. I will miss her dearly, not only as a player, but more as a friend as that is what we became. I planned to visit her this summer. God Bless you Katie may you rest in peace and may God help your family as he did mine through this difficult time. Bev

I spent my childhood in the backyard of our house playing baseball, kickball, and night games with the kids. I spent many years raking leaves in the huge yard, and jumping into leaf piles. I enjoyed every memory I have. Thank you for always keeping the basement toasty warm for us to come in and play after a long day of sledding! Rachel
