Kathy was a sweet and talented woman. I always valued her opinion and enjoyed my time with her. Hope she is in heaven.

This is very confusing, as I knew Kathy Geenen and knew her family. She graduated with my class in 1966...not 1965...in fact we have classes together...not sure what to make of this, but I never knew any other Kathy Geenen in school at that time...this is very perplexing. It has got to be the same person...just the wrong year for her graduation.

Dale, Memories of Kathy will live on forever as she begins a new adventure. As we built our cabins, she was not afraid to pitch in and mix mortar or just keep you grounded so you didn't try to over do it. I don't know if "it's just a cabin" was her origination or not but I suspect it was. I'll bet St Peter heard about her home made sticky buns that kept the crew showing up on Saturday mornings to lift a wall or set a beam. May Kathy rest in God's arms and you be secure in the knowledge that you will see her again. Miss those sticky buns.

I have no words. I will miss her so much. I will always remember her laugh (can hear it now)... she was always so happy. She would always listen... and tell you her thoughts..... honestly...(whether you liked it or not) lol--- and had a heart bigger than words can describe. There are no words to tell u how much I will miss her...
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

My heart breaks for this family who have become my dear friends. Kathy along with another friend taught me to forgive & go on with my life. She was once special lady & I will miss her so much! Dale, you & all the family will always be in my prayers. RIP Kathy

I only meant Kathy because she came to our home to help us with furniture placement. She was the type of person you could give a hug to right away..warm, honest, and very open. Seeing her obituary in the paper really affected me (and I only met her twice). My mother died from ALS. I wish I would have known her better. My condolences to the family for your huge loss.

Kathy invited me to join a bible study some 30 years ago. I feel that was the start of my spiritual journey. Thanks Kathy. You will be missed. Thoughts and prayers to her family. God Bless

Dale, My memories of Kathy and the times we all shared will live on though she is gone. I know she is on a new adventure and probably redecorating heaven. As we built our cabins, she was always ready to pitch in and mix mortar or feed the crew who showed up on Saturday morning. She kept you grounded. "It's only a cabin !" Remember? I'll bet St. Peter got word of her home made sticky buns. I hope the knowledge that she is in the arms of God will give you peace my friend.

To all family and friends,. You do not know me but I would like to express my deepest sympathy for the loss your dear loved one. God of comfort knows the pain of loosing someone we truly loved. He also gives us the promise that soon he will wipe oot tears, pain, mourning, out cries and even death will be no more (Revelation chapter 21 verse 3 and 4). What time worth waiting for. Auntie Kathy! You are a queen bee! A force. A lesson to all girls what a woman should be. Never were you a wall flower! Every word you spoke was meaningful. We would either be laughing with your uncomfortable sense of humor or talking about the meaning of life. You taught me never to talk about traffic or the weather. Wasted words... you are intense and always down for fun! You have been in heaven for less than 24 hours. ...No doubt you have it all figured out and are the chair women of some spiritual board. You figured it out within hours and have a network of friends already. Knowing you can look down and protect us is awesome.... but better yet make us laugh! You do it better than anyone. I’ll see you again and I love you. Run heaven. You got this! Please know you are worth our hearts breaking... your faith is and always will be an inspiration. Kathy... you have influenced so many of us. Well played. Now get to your book club in heaven

Dale, I was there when Kathy came into your life, and I've never seen a husband so devoted, or a wife so loving. The two of you were a inspiration to me and a model of how marriage should be. May God bless you and your family as He welcomes her home. Love and strength to you my friend.

Dear Dale and Family, I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved Katherine. A few years back, I was traveling with my senior parents at Christmas time. And I saw Dale and Kathy from afar, seated at the airport gate, waiting for their flight to fun in Sun City, Arizona. They looked so lovely and serene. A special bond. A blessed bubble surrounding them, whilst holiday chaos reigned around them. They probably were unaware of what I saw. But they were a true blessing of two humans who had found each other. Bless your family.
