I will be forever grateful that Karsten reached out in friendship to both Larry and I and gave us a chance to be a part of the Vollstedt clan. The strength, humor and courage with which he faced this last illness were remarkable. He was blessed to have such a caring family who spared no effort to assure his life ended with grace and dignity, surrounded by those who mattered most.
