WILLIAMS, JUNE A.

June A. Williams, age 81, of Appleton, passed away at her home on Thursday, March 10, 2010. June was born to the late Clarence and Esther (Holz) Meyer on July 21, 1929, in Milwaukee. She married Leonard E. Williams on November 21, 1953, in Appleton. June was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her greatest pride and pleasure were her two grandchildren, who she loved dearly and who held a special place in her heart. She was employed in the Dietary Department of St. Elizabeth Hospital for many years, retiring in 1993. Survivors include her daughter, Susan K. (Michael) Van Nuland, Appleton; her sons, Mark (Linda) Williams, Freedom, and Charles Williams, Kimberly; her two grandchildren, Melissa Van Nuland and Matthew Van Nuland (Teresa Oyen); her sister, Carol (Leonard) Kunstman, Kimberly; and her nieces and nephews. She is further survived by her granddog, Abby. June was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Meyer, and her sisters, Dorothy Fuhrman and Audrey Nabbefeld. Funeral services will be at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 15, 2011, at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, Appleton, with Rev. Mark Geisthardt of Emmanuel United Methodist Church officiating. Friends may call directly at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to her nurse Tara; her hairdresser for several years Marylee Wichersheim; and the staff at ThedaCare at Home, for their loving care. A memorial has been established in her name.
