Judy Mae Kosiorek

Judy Mae Kosiorek, 68, passed away on August 4, 2021. She was born to Leor “Bud” and Helen Wanty November 7, 1952. Judy married Richard Kosiorek on August 24, 1973 and they enjoyed 49 years together.
Judy enjoyed sewing, collecting Coca Cola merchandise and angels, hummingbirds, reading, and all things hot and humid. She loved the long car and motorcycle trips she’d take with her husband Richard. She was a connoisseur of flowers and chocolate, and very proud of her Extra Class Ham Radio license and membership to the Fox Cities Amateur Radio Club. Judy was a mother to and protector of all children. She loved and lived for her family, and that care spread to any child who crossed her path.
Judy is preceded in death by her infant daughters, Sarah and Christie Kosiorek; father, Leor “Bud” Wanty; brother-in-law, John Kosiorek; and parents-in-law, Bernard and Patricia Kosiorek.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Richard Kosiorek; son, Ryan (Brittney) Kosiorek; grandson, Caleb Kosiorek; step-grandson, Bailey Sprecher; mother, Helen Wanty; siblings, Joan (Fred) Reichelt, John (LaTiffa) Wanty, James (Patsy) Wanty, Jeff Wanty, Joe (Anne) Wanty, Jay Wanty, and Jill (Al) Schmidt; siblings-in-law, Thomas (Mary Jo) Kosiorek, Gary (Bonnie) Kosiorek, and Debbie (Joe) Thiel; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A service for Judy will be held on Saturday, August 14, at 3:00 pm, at Laemmrich Funeral Chapel, 312 Milwaukee St, Menasha. The visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
