Judith Bowman

Judith A. Bowman (Judy), age 70, passed away on Friday, December 22, 2017 peacefully and surrounded by her loving family. Judy was born on February 19, 1947 to the late Grant and Caroline (Heise) Brown in Wisconsin Rapids. Judy graduated from Lincoln High School in 1965. She married Gary M. Bowman on May 22, 1965.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Bowman of 52 years; two children: Michelle (Marcelino) Wittman, Appleton, and Clayton Bowman (Julie Koga), Land O’ Lakes; and four grandchildren: Mandy Elizabeth Wittman, Michelle Lee (Ben) Grobe, Matthew Raymond Wittman (Katelyn), and Dakota Thomas Bowman (Alex). She is further survived by her brother, David (Deb) Brown; sisters: Carol (Harry) Calverley and Alice Converse; two special friends: Doris Felzer and Linda Pagel; grand-dogs: Earle, Haley, Charlie, Levi, Hoosier, Toby and Jake; grand-cat, Kolby Ray; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Sharon Bowden; mother-in-law, Emma Bowman; and father-in-law, Clayton Bowman.

A funeral service in honor of Judy will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, 537 N. Superior St. Appleton. There will be a time of visitation from 4 p.m. until the time of service. The time for interment in Community Lutheran Cemetery in Appleton will be announced at Thursday’s service.
