Joe was a one of a kind guy. Generous to all who became his friend, kind words in time of sadness and always with a smile if he noticed you without one. Many a conversation over the years at dialysis, sometimes funny and light hearted and sometimes serious as could be with kind and honest advice and a listening ear. I was lucky to be one of his care givers over the years and he was always always glad to see me. Many lessons he taught me which I will carry with me in my heart thru the remainder of my days as a nurse and as a friend. Charming, kind, generous, Joe may you be at peace and may your family and friends find comfort in your ever present love and memory. Until we meet again, never goodbye. Save me a tuna sub.

Thoughts and prayers of comfort to Joe's family, friends and Traci. God blessed us all by allowing you to be in our lives and now has called you home. No one else has ever gently touched my spiky hair and said "ouch"! He cheered up a lot of people with his genuineness, his strength and his humor. Joe will be missed by me and so many others. He now has no more pain and is now at peace with the angels. Love you my friend.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.
