I knew Jack for many years thru school. Lost touch with most my class mate since moving. He was one of the "nice" guys. Always had a pleasant word for everyone. He will be missed. 5

Jack was our next door neighbor on Pierce Avenue growing up. His parents, Jim his brother, and their parents were the best neighbors and friends. Although I was the younger kid on the block, Jack was always very kind to me and treated me like his little sister. I loved spending time at their house and in their wonderful back yard with the beautiful garden and rabbit hutch! I often waited for Jack's Dad, "Uncle Bill" to get off the bus at the corner and would walk him home, as he did not drive as I recall. The whole family made me feel special. In later life, Jack continued to be friendly and always pleasant to visit with, as well as a very respected man. He was always a good example, and always very proud and eager to relate what Jennifer and Scott were doing. Thanks for the memories Jack. I am sorry for your loss. Bless you.
