I knew John way back in the day. As in maybe 1952. Our parents had cottages near each other on Green Bay. Theirs in Oakwood and ours just past. I chummed around with brother Mike. John was a good all around kid. Sorry we lost touch. God Bless all of you. Chuck Garot

Carol, I am so sorry. John was a great man and an even better boss. I have many great memories. So many times it was, "Bev, what do you want cheese on your queen burger?!" I still buy Chili John's chili when I see it. May God wrap his arms around you in your time of sorrow. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I love you both. Love, Bev (Walbrun) Plamann

Dear Betsy, may our Lord's peace surround you and your family. I still remember John, who was 4 years older than me, walking by our house with his Premontre lettermens jacket on. He was a football legend to us kids on Division Street. It was so special talking to you at my sister's memorial service a few years ago. God bless you, John
