John Joseph Willems

John Willems, 77, passed away Nov. 15, 2021, in Kimberly surrounded by his loving family. He was born Feb. 28, 1944, in Green Bay, the son of the late Albert and Inez Willems. John graduated from UW-Stevens Point. He earned a Master’s Degree from UW-Madison shortly thereafter. John married the love of his life, Carol Willems, on June 18, 1965.
John is survived by his wife of 56 years, Carol; sons Chuck and Mark; daughter Tracy Golub; grandchildren Hannah Golub, Hayden and Rayne Willems. He is further survived by his sister Betsy Biebel, son-in-law Rob Golub, daughter-in-law Tina Willems, and future daughter-in-law Rhonda Lamers.
John was preceded in death by his parents, Bud and Inez, and brother Mike.
John will be remembered as a husband and father who loved his family deeply and was asking “where’s Carol” until the end.
The memorial service for John will be held 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 20, 2021, at Wichmann Funeral Home’s Tri-County Chapel in Menasha.
