Age 74, passed away on Saturday December 9, 2006. John was born on May 23, 1932 in Appleton, WI., son of the late Emil and Mildred (Simpson) Glass. He married Marian Vick on December 3, 1955 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Appleton. John was a United States Army Veteran serving in Korea. He was employed at Banta Corporation for many years. John enjoyed dancing to the Alvin Styczynski Polish Polka Band and loved every one of his cocker spaniels.

He is survived by his wife Marian, his son Dennis, Appleton; a grandson Derrick Glass, Orange Park, Florida; granddaughter Stephanie (Glass) Lind, Appleton; 3 sisters Phyllis Bowen, Geraldine Clark, and Frances Zak. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Roy, several sisters, and his mother and father in law Raymond and Minnie Vick.

Funeral Services for John will be held at 11 AM Monday December 11, 2006 at Eternal Love Church 1011 Midway Rd., Appleton with Pastor Robert Balza officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Monday from 9 AM until the time of services. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Appleton. A memorial is being established.
