Patti,
I read the paper Saturday night. I would have been there with Aaron had I known. I will never forget the love and kindness you and John had for Aaron. John was a very wonderful person and I am sure you will miss him greatly. My prayers and thoughts are with you.

Tom & Mary Pat Roovers left a message on July 20, 2014:

Dear Pierce Family,
We send our condolences. Our name probably does not mean anything to you, but back in 1966 and for several years we lived in an apartment complex off of Hwy. 41 in Neenah. The neighborhood shared many family gatherings, as we all were young married couples with a child or two. We always enjoyed John and his quiet ways. May you find peace in the memories you have gathered along the way. God Bless, Tom & Mary Pat Roovers

So sorry for your loss, Patti, and family. We will miss John's sense of humor and his passion for debate, especially political. All my thoughts and prayers for you at this time. From a former member of the old (now defunct) Forumers group from the Post-Crescent, your friend Jenny (JenBear) Reichenberger.
