We are so grateful that Uncle John ("Opa") could play such an integral part in our lives and in the lives of our children. His dry sense of humor still makes us laugh when think about it. Just when we thought he was tuned out of our sometimes lively family debates, he would chime in with a zinger of a comment. His memory will always be alive in our home...All our love, Brett & Traci

We are very sorry to loose John and will treasure our memories of special times spent with John and Phyllis up in WI and their trips to CA. One of my favorite memories was of John whistling to the eagles and feeding them small fish as he threw the fish to them and the eagles caught them in the air. He had a special way of living with nature and the animals of the north woods. We love you, John.
