Uncle John You were so helpful to my mother, your sister, Mollyo, when she needed help. Many times you tuned her car and gave helpful suggestions. You always had a smile for anyone in need of encouragement. Although we were not close you have always been in my heart. Your niece , Martha

Uncle John - You were a lucky fellow - that's what you told me a long time ago. You had a great life and were able to surround yourself with loving people. You were fortunate to be able to "reconnect" with your daughter - an excellent example of a loving soul. She has your smile and compassion and I think even your 'luck!' You were always there when your brother needed assistance and he really did love you for that. You take care and give Gee a hug for me when you all get together. Love, Gene Hallman Westford, Vermont

Every little girl loves their daddy. I am no exception, love gets stronger as we get older. We have shared alot of love, laughs, serious conversations, successes, failures, disappoitments and happiness. Although you were not able to be with me when I was a youngster, you were there with me as a teen, young adult and now. You are the best dad I could ever have. I am greatful for the Hallman name and the Hallman family. You were a gentle and quiet man. Strong of faith and strong of conviction. I always come back to the picture I have of the two of us when I was about 3. Sitting on the front porch in Ocean Beach, showing me pictures of animals in a book, telling me "that's a nice doggy, give him a kiss, you love all the doggies". And you did this for all the animals in the book. What a big grin I had and so did you. I miss you and love you with my whole heart. You are with the angles and my guardian angel. Yes, dad, I am your little girl. Love always, Vicki
