Dear Ike and Carl, We were shocked to see in the paper that John had passed. The obituary told us things we never knew about John! We will always remember a couple of John's loves: pears and Christmas fudge! We think about you often and hope you are doing well. The neighborhood continues to change, with you gone and now with the passing of Alvin Kasten. May John rest in peace. He and your family will be in our prayers. Love and Blessings to you all --- Dave and Ellen

Ike and Family, So, so sorry to hear of John's passing. It seems like yesterday, but unfortunately was way too may years ago we had the opportunity to gig together. John was a great guy and even greater musician....hugs to all.

Thoughts and Prayers to Ike, Carl and family. John shared a lot of life with us. We shared listening to a lot of great music and created some of our own. He read to my daughter most evenings before disappearing into the studio for another all nighter. True Milwaukee Bucks fan, eater of my Perch Dinners, loved the game of Tennis, cross country skiing and I still believe we invented the Snowboard in our trips to Plaman Park.(Warped piece of plywood with two bootstraps from a rubber gun) but it worked ! I miss the days and nights on the road, the chord progressions of our lives. RIP Big Guy

I sang with John for many years in Elkhart Lake. We spent many summer nights laughing and complaining about life—-he had a hysterical, dry, sense of humor. He once tried to start a band with me as the lead singer. He always encouraged me to keep the “music going.” He will be dearly missed!
