Dear Mary and Jen, I am sorry to hear your mother had passed. I always enjoyed seeing her at Sears and will miss her. We had a nice little visit each time. Last week one of the girls said that she was ill. I hope it wasn't very long. She was such a nice and caring lady and I loved her smile.I guess I am one of the few who could say that often she would stop by to see you Mary at the old store. She truly loved her family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. God has received an angel to himself. God's blessings, Bev

Mary, Lori and Brian: I am so sorry I couldn't be there today. We are out of town and couldn't be back in time for the service. I just learned of your Moms passing last night. Aunt Johanna will be missed by all of us. I will always remember her cheery smile. She always seemed to enjoy life. Aunt Johanna was one of my favorite Aunts. Its always hard loosing a Parent as well as an Aunt or Uncle, but one great thing is she is no longer in any pain and discomfort but in peace and rest. Take comfort knowing Aunt Johanna is with the Lord now. I will say a prayer, Gods blessings. Rick We are willing rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord. Don and Sandy Ver Bust left a message on September 25, 2010:
Mary, Lori and Brian, Your mom was a great gal. I used to love talking to her when all of our kids were growing up. We had some fun times in Jefferson Place. All of us families in Jefferson Place had a common bond, lots of fun. I was a much younger mother when we moved in and talking to your mom reassured me in bringing up my younger kids. I remember her as always having a funny story to share of you little kids and I would go back across the street a little more confident that I was doing the right thing with mine. Her sense of humor was a great attribute of hers. Your dad was such a nice guy too. I remember him and Don and Don Peters practicing their aim with their bows and arrows and all of our kids standing around watching. I just lost my mom a year and a half ago and it is difficult but life has to go on. I have to take care of Don, he has had Parkinson's for almost 20 years. He is wheelchair bound, can't talk very good either.
