Johanna "Anna" Rietveld

Johanna Rietveld, age 81, of Kimberly, passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2013, at her home. Anna was born on July 24, 1931, in Kimberly, to the late Peter and Agnes (Reyes) Vander Wielen. She married Raymond Rietveld on July 10, 1952; he preceded her in death on May 27, 1997.

Anna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Survivors include her children, Jeff (Joann) Rietveld, Cathy Rietveld, Richard (Cheryl) Rietveld, Patricia (Tom) Lamers and Mary Jo Rietveld (fianc√© Sam); her grandchildren, Josef, Justine and Jeremy Rietveld, Maggie Stalsberg, Russell Miller and Michael Van Wychen, Ben, Bryan (Mariah), Melissa Lamers, Joshua, Jason (Evelyn) Anderson, Elisha (Jose) Rodriguez, and Krystina Abbs; her 12 great grandchildren; her sisters, Mary (Norbert) Kilsdonk and Dorothy (Ron) Thyssen; her brother, Henry (Pearl) Vander Wielen; her brothers-in-law, John, Tony (Donna), Gerald (Margie) and Ted Rietveld and Joe Van Grinsven; and her sisters-in-law, Ruth Vander Wielen and Mary Ann Porto. Anna was preceded in death by her sisters, Cora Vander Wielen, Theresa Rietveld, and Fran Van Grinsven; and her brothers Albert and John “Joe” Vander Wielen; her brothers-in-law, Frank, Pete and Adrian Rietveld; and her sisters-in-law, Riet Bavinck, Harriet and Cora Rietveld.

The Funeral Liturgy will be at NOON on Wednesday, March 6, 2012, at HOLY SPIRIT/HOLY NAME CATHOLIC CHURCH, 620 E. Kimberly Avenue, Kimberly with Fr. David Beaudry officiating. Friends may call directly at the church on Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will be in Holy Name Cemetery, Kimberly.
