Joey Lee Verbruggen

Joey L. Verbruggen, 48 of Appleton passed away on October 31, 2016. He was born on June 8, 1968 to Donald and Beverly (VanStiphout) Verbruggen in Appleton, WI.

Joey was an avid train enthusiast and collected many train related items. He loved watching his favorite baseball team, the Cubbies.

Joey is preceded in death by his father, Donald Verbruggen, and his beloved grandmother, Irma VanStiphout.

Joey is survived by his mother, Beverly, and his siblings; Joan (Albert) Allen, Julie Verbruggen, and James Verbruggen. He is also survived by his nephew, Marcus McFaul, with whom he was very close.

A memorial service for Joey will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 8, 2016, at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, 537 N. Superior St., Appleton. There will be a time of visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Online Condolences may be made at www.wichmannfuneralhomes.com.
