Dot left a message on September 11, 2009:
Hi Lloyd, I was so sorry to read that Pinky died. Even though we hadn't seen each other in years, I remember all the good times she and I had together as kids and at our class reunions. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Dot
Brian and Charlene left a message on September 10, 2009:
"Thank you, Pinky" I search my mind, in vain, for the words to make this right. It is not right, nor is it wrong...it just is. For life to have meaning, it requires, at least, two things: an inhale in the dawn and an exhale in the dusk; a first and last. But, these things... These meager actions are only valued insofar as they are accompanied by virtue and goodness from a heart. This is why we hurt: we do not mourn the last breathe, the last of these meager actions. We mourn the last bit of goodness. We are saddened by the thought that we will receive no more virtue and no more goodness from her. The thing to do is: remember all that you have learned and all that you have experienced... for this is her shadow that will linger in your mind... and that is her immortality. And when you remember her, praise her. Our last words to her should not be good bye. They should be thank you. Love Always, Brian and Charlene
