Joan Elaine Kapitz

Joan Kapitz, 82, of Menominee, Michigan, died on August 11, 2014 in Menasha, Wisconsin, after a long illness. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Irene (Peterson) Kapitz. Joan worked at Briggs and Stratton in Milwaukee for 35 years. After her retirement she moved to Menominee and then moved to the Fox Valley. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Joan is survived by her daughter Linda (Brad) Whitcomb and two sons, Jeffery Mayville and Timothy (Krissy) Brycki; two grandchildren, Kristin (special friend George) and Scott (Jeab), and four great-grandsons, Trenton, Drew, Gannet and Griffyn; a sister Terry, two brothers Billy and Roger, nieces and nephews. Joan was preceded in death by two brothers Robert and James, two sisters Marlene and Nancy, a grandson Ryan Brycki, and a daughter-in-law Lynn Mayville.
