Age 91, passed away at Parkview Health Center in Oshkosh on Thursday, July 16, 2009. She was born in St. Paul, MN on October 5, 1917 the daughter of the late John and Alice (Nord) Gravatt. Joan will be remembered for her love of bingo and ice cream.

Joan is survived by her daughter, Sandra Lee Michalkiewicz of Neenah; grandchildren: Kelly Lynn (Carl) Taylor of Lusby, MD; and Traci A. Michalkiewicz of Neenah; and brother, James B. Robinson of Colorado Springs, CO. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy “Rosie” Johnson; mother and stepfather, Reuben (Alice) Robinson; father, John Gravatt; very special friend, Joe Heid; and sister-in-law, Rita Robinson.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 20, 2009 at ST. MARK EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 140 S. Green Bay Rd., Neenah, with Rev. Stephen Dietzler officiating. Friends will be received at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Appleton Highland Memorial Park.

The family extends a special thank you to Dr. Paul Russo for Joan's wonderful care.
