Dear Sue, I was so sorry to hear about Jim. I knew him since our St. Therese days and then of course at Xavier. Really enjoyed the time we all spent those many years ago planning our 15 year XHS reunion. He sure had a great sense of humor. He hired my oldest son on at Piggly Wiggly back around 1988. It was a good job for Andy and Jim was a good boss. The weather will keep me from coming to the funeral but I just wanted to let you know that I am thinking of you and your family and send my sincere sympathy.

JIm: You were one of a kind and they certainly broke the mold. We had so many good times together. Your smile, wit and humor would light up the room. And your big heart well that made everyone welcomed and wanting to be near you. I guess God just needed all that up in heaven to warm it up just a bit more. In the meantime we will all miss you on this planet. Until we meet again Big Guy take care of that new place like only you can!

Sue and family,
I am so very sorry for your loss. We were all St. Therese and Xavier veterans and survived the strict but caring nuns and brothers. Although we lost touch over the years I did see Jim occasionally at the Pig but that was a long time ago as well. My mom lived on the corner of Union and Grant but didn't venture out much even though you were neighbors. You were married to an incredible man and he will be missed.

Sue and Billy... words are so tough right now! Haase was such a great guy and fun to be around. He had everyone smiling all the time. May God hold you in His arms as you trudge thru this journey. Haases smile will forever be ingrained in our minds and hearts.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

Jim was one of the nicest and funniest guys ever put on this earth. Once when the 4th of July carnivals was in town, Jim looked at a bunch of us and said, “Any of you girls wanna go to the carnie?”
It still makes me laugh. Anyone who knew him is greatly saddened by his passing.
