Jennifer Lynn Olski

July 14, 1967 — March 19, 2015

Memories, moments of joy and of sadness, life's path. That path began for Jennifer Lynn Olski on July 14, 1967, and was completed on March 19, 2015 when the breath from within her left her soul, passing freely to world's broad winds.

The first great moment of joy was the one she gave her parents, Larry and Sharon Olski of being their daughter. In an instant they had become a family with this beautiful addition. “Jenny” was so very happy when she was later joined by her little brothers Mark and Darin. Her first big sadness was when we couldn't keep a big old piano in the living room, watching it being taken away, trauma at age 7 and an indication of her love of music.
Jennifer had beautiful travel memories. She escorted a cruise trip through the Panama Canal. Jen visited Paris in 2007 for her 40th Birthday. A very special goal she was excited to complete, because July 14th, her birthday, is France's Independence Day. In 2012 Jennifer went on a trip to China. She climbed the Great Wall, saw the Terra Cotta Army, all the wonderful sites she dreamed of. Here in the USA she made several trips to Arizona, loving both Sedona and Tucson. Her joy as a solo traveler was meeting and talking to people wherever she went.
Words were her passion. Those of you who knew her know they came out from her heart, in her writings and, of course, her lips. The beauty and bite of her words could lift and brighten for one person and sting and pierce another. Oh how those words will be missed.

She leaves behind a family forever broken without her. Parents, Larry and Sharon Olski (Kimberly). Two Brothers who she said were the BEST brothers she could possibly have, Mark (Lisa) Olski , Neenah; Darin (Lori)Olski , Rhinelander. Three Nieces who were the absolute LOVE of her life! Nikkole Olski (Gary Tippie) Swanton OH; Lorrin & Jaden Olski , Rhinelander. (Jen said being their Auntie Jen was the best thing that ever happened to her). God-parents Keith and Carol Olski; God-son Dennis Schneider. Very special friends Kelli Frankenberg (Madison) , Mary Jo Murphy(Kimberly). She is survived by Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and the many friends of her life journey.

In 2013 and 2014 Jennifer was preceded in death by her dear grandparents Toots and Wally Olson, who lived with her in Kimberly. She cared for them so very well. Her grandparents Ethel and Walter Olski also preceded her in death many years before but she cherished their memory.

Memorial service celebrating Jennifer's life will be held on Sunday, March 22 at 3:30 p.m. at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOMES, 537 N. Superior Street, Appleton, with Pastor Mary Ubuntu, a dear friend of Jennifer's, officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services.

Rest well sweetest Jennifer as we now listen and wait for the softness of your memories touching our heart instead of the warmth of your hug, your kiss hello, or feeling the brush of your hand…Love Always, Your Family .
