Thanks, Mom, for all you've done for us, all you've taught us, all the love you have given as a wife, a mom and a grandma. You are now like an angel of God and although we will miss you so very, very much, we are comforted knowing that you are with Jesus in Heaven and we can look forward to meeting you there and being together forever!

Wife, Mom, Grandma…Our Angel

LOVE
How she loved her family, no words can describe
She was strong, she was fun and always stood by our side
A mother's love, nothing can compare
Her love was astounding, so true and so rare

PEACE
To describe true peace on earth we can't really do
But she comforted us and gave great hugs too
No matter the trouble, the worry, the fears
She was there to help rid us of all of our tears

FAITH
Her faith was so strong, she taught us God's word
She assured us our prayers would always be heard
She loved to help at the church however she could
Out of love for her Lord, if she could help, she would

LAUGHTER
The medicine they say that's for the soul
It makes us feel better and makes us feel whole
On her birthday and holidays and just every day
She taught us to “just laugh” our stress away

ENERGY
Oh how she could just keep “a-going”
She loved playing with her grandkids and always knowing
That every Tuesday was “Grandma Day”
They'd laugh and they'd run and oh, how they'd play!

STRENGTH
To battle “Alzheimer's” you must be strong
It's a disease that is just plain nasty and wrong
Although it robbed her of things she once knew
Her very last words were, “I Love You”

TOGETHER
We were there when God reached out to her with His hand
And she took it and walked to His heavenly land
And with her last breath we clearly saw in her face
The beauty and awe of our eternal resting place
