Jay A. Ziglinski

April 18, 1959 — November 6, 2005

Ziglinski, Jay A.

Jay A. Ziglinski, age 46, of Wellington, Florida, died unexpectedly, Sunday, November 6, 2005. He was born April 18, 1959, to the late Albert J. and Donna M. (Annis) Ziglinski, in Merrill, WI, was raised in Appleton and at the age of 18 moved to Florida. Jay was employed by the Palm Beach Post. If a photograph in the Palm Beach Post is vivid, sharp and true to its natural color, Jay Ziglinski deserved a lot of the credit. He was the newspaper’s pre-press systems specialists for more than two decades. Jay specialized in color quality and was one of the reasons The Post won contests over the years. Secondary to his son, Logan, Jay loved fishing and the Green Bay Packers.
He is survived by his son Logan, Florida; two brothers, Joe (Vicki) Ziglinski, Blaine, MN; Jerry (Peg) Ziglinski, Appleton; two sisters, Amy Ziglinski, Appleton; Angie (Eduardo) Flores, Appleton; nephews and a niece.
A memorial service for Jay will be held at 3:00 pm, Thursday, November 17, 2005, at the funeral home, with Reverend Randy Loux officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1:00 pm, Thursday until the time of the service. Burial will be in Appleton Highland Memorial Park. A memorial fund is being established.
