(Oudeans) and Everett M. Briggs in Green Bay. On November 17, 1951, she married Richard C. Resch at Annunciation Church in Green Bay, and they spent 61 years together.
Janice is survived by her husband, Richard Resch; children, Paul (Kathy) Resch of Little Suamico, Mary Ellen Resch of Green Bay, John Resch of Neenah, Joe Resch of Appleton, Lynn (Dave) Worthen of Green Bay, Jim Resch of Butte des Mortes, Kathy (Rich) Willes of Little Chute, and Susie (Dave) Roark of Appleton. She is further survived by 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; brothers, Everett (Mari Rose) Briggs and Roger Briggs, both of Green Bay, and numerous brothers and sisters-in-law.
She was preceded in death by her parents, mother and father-in-law, multiple sisters-in-law, and her godson, Michael Anholzer.
A memorial service for Janice will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 5, 2013, at the WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, 537 N. Superior Street, Appleton. A time of visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the Alzheimer's Association.
