On September 26th, 2021, Janice ‘Mom’ Lee Winslow, was called home to be a guardian angel after a tragic four-wheeling accident. She was just 56 years old. Lee was always so kind and friendly to my husband and I when we started coming to FVH&O in 2010. After he passed in 2011 and I started there in 2012 she remembered. It means a lot to a person that someone remembers. Lee was always the same through the years. She had that extra something that is so special. She answered my phone call to TCCC just before this happened. I will never forget her.

So sorry to hear about your loss. My sister and I were patients at FVHO for many years. Your Mom really made a difference. D so he definitely set a positive tone when you walked through those doors. You have my sincere sympathy. Hugs and prayers.

Lee was an angel on earth. When my husband was diagnosed with cancer she welcomed us into the FVHO family with her love, empathy and sincere desire to make things better for everyone, not just the patient. Everyone mattered to her. When complications arose, which is often the case with cancer treatments, you could call Lee and she would get you the help you needed. I know my husband, and all her former patients who have left us, are greeting her in heaven as warmly as she greeted all of them here on earth. Wishing you peace for your heavy hearts.

We as caring neighbors, want to extend our deep sympathy to the family of Jan Winslow. She always had a happy smile and took time to chat a bit as we would see her on our walks. Her atv accident was a horrible shock to us all. Our blessing to you as you grieve and our thoughts and prayers are with you. Joan Richter Rob Richter
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

Michelle and Animal here... We were totally shocked and saddened to hear of Lee's sudden passing,, she would always come out and see us when Michelle had an appointment, I would always share a joke or 2 or 3 with her, she was so bubbly and always had a snile for us. When I would talk to her on the phone she would get so excited when I would say " This is Animal" we would talk as long as we could, she felt bad when she'd say, I have another call and we would have to hang up. We will miss her so much. She is definitely an angel and will be watching over all of us.

Wonder Woman, oh yeah. In so many ways - filled with wonder for that new crochet "this" and garden "that", kept every one wondering - like what in the "sam hill" is she up to now. Cuz Jan lived out loud - no filters, no pretense, no fake anything. Real as can be. Loving everyone - sharing every raw emotion and inviting everyone to be real - pain, loss, love - raw passion, moody, loud, quirky, scared. Tender, thoughtful, generous, needing alone time. Janny, we loved to play Charlie's Angels as little girls - you were always Jacqueline Smith with your beautiful long dark hair. I'm gonna hug you so tight and not let go when I see you again, You're gonna need your wonder woman super powers to get loose!

We’re so sorry to hear of Lee’s tragic death. Lee was our Tim’s dear friend during his last year of fighting cancer, and was so loving to him. We always looked forward to seeing her. She brightened up a room. Our sympathy.

I am so very sorry & sad to learn of your moms passing. I first met your mom when we both worked at Paper Valley Hotel as house keepers. Then when my husband went through cancer treatment- I enjoyed finding her again working on the oncology scheduling team. She was always a joy to visit with & loved you boys to the moon & back. May you find comfort in the hope of the resurrection on paradise earth when mom can enjoy all the memories she shared with all of you.

I was so sad to read about Lee's passing. She was the kind voice on the other end of the phone when I called the FVHO or Theda Care offices. She was so excited to live up north and I was so happy for her. Lee always had uplifting words to share and a great sense of humor. Lee I will miss our chats and your laughter. You were a special person.

Our World feels empty knowing you are not in it. But I’m certain Heaven is so much fuller (and louder!). Love you, Lee. Your loud FVHO friend and coworker, Becky P.S. The photo was our attempt at a selfie at one of our Xmas parties. Nailed it, huh?!? 😉
