Jane Margaret Griesbach

September 12, 1934 — April 3, 2012

Jane Margaret Griesbach, age 77, went to be with the LORD JESUS CHRIST on April 3, 2012. She was born in Appleton, September 12, 1934, daughter of the late Harold and Margaret Rehfeldt. She was the loving wife, of 53 years, wed to the late Donald J. Griesbach on August 12, 1956. Together they raised their six children on the family dairy farm in Freedom. She had a strong faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and loved to read His Word. In her younger years Jane liked to train horses. More recently, she loved to find a good deal, support the moral political candidate, and was the “Go To” person for information and advice. Jane will be remembered for her energy and strength of character, along with her loving compassion.

She will be sadly missed by her family: son, Gary (Sharon) Griesbach of Creal Springs, Illinois, and their children: Jacob (Tiffany), Serah (Jonathon) Stevens, Joshua (Heather), Shalisha (Joshua) Wood, Gideon, Jeremiah (fiancée, Hannah Witte) and Gloryel; daughter, Julie (Tony) VandenHeuvel of Seymour and their children: Jennifer (Graham) Stowe, Jill (John) McCain, Jeannie (Greg) Mahone, Tony J. (fiancée, Brianna Upp), and John (fiancée, Alyssa Richlen); daughter, Kim (Ron) Hakenjos of Black Creek and their son, Matthew (Alexandria); daughter, Lynn (Steve) Schmidt of Bonduel and their children: Faith and Luke; son, James (Regina) Griesbach of Bonduel and their children: Jacob, Josiah, Isaiah, Samuel, Moriah and Judah; daughter, Lori (Kyle) Loewenhagen of Mondovi and their children: Katerina, Isaiah, and Malachi. There are also six great-grandchildren: Elijah, Jael, and Phineas Griesbach; Maya and Sophia Mahone; and Violette Hakenjos. Jane will be missed by her sister, Arlene (Jerry) VandenWildenberg; Godchild, Lisa; and many cherished relatives and friends.

Jane is preceded in death by her husband, Don; grandchildren: Gabriel Griesbach,
