BURDETTE, JAMES B. “BOB”

Bob Burdette, of Menasha, age 75, went Home to meet the Lord with his loving wife of 34 years at his side on Sunday, November 29, 2009. He was born on June 26, 1934 in Fountain Inn, South Carolina, the son of the late Robert and Helen (Williams) Burdette. Bob served his country in the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his wife: Esther Burdette, Menasha; children: James (Mikie) Bascombe, Menasha and Loren-Paul Bascombe, Louisiana; 16 grandchildren and sister-in-law: Meril (Thomas) Matthews, Georgia. Bob was preceded in death by his son Anthony Burdette.

The memorial service for Bob will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 5, 2009 at VICTORY BAPTIST CHURCH, 815 N. Richmond Street, Appleton with Rev. Ken Griesbach officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his name.
