Irene A. Brandt

Irene A. Brandt, age 93, left this life surrounded by her loving family on February 7, 2014. She was born to the late Karl and Hertha Winkler on May 31, 1920 in Cuxhaven, Germany. She was an active member at the New Apostolic Church in Appleton. Irene loved her active life at The Heritage, and was a member of the Heritage Harmonizers, walking club and craft club. She also enjoyed having dinner with her friends.

She is survived by her son, Gary and daughter, Wendy (Steve) Veith; grandchildren: Eric (Krista) Brandt, Andrew (Danielle) Veith, Craig (Katie) Brandt and Ruth (Matthew) Schleis; great-grandchildren: Mason, Brody, Aidan, Liam, Maddie, Flynn and Tanner; brother: Gerald (Joan) Winkler; sister-in-law: Colleen Winkler; special friends from The Heritage: Norma and Marion. She is further survived by nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Heinz Brandt and her brother, Kurt Winkler.

A memorial service for Irene will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at THE NEW APOSTOLIC CHURCH (11722 W. Florist Ave., Milwaukee, WI). Visitation will take place from 1:00 PM until the time of service. Online condolences may be offered at www.wichmannfargo.com.
