Age 89, passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2003 at the home of her daughter.

She was born November 12, 1913 in the town of Greenville, the daughter of the late John and Magdalena (Fischer) Pegel. She married Harold McGinnis on April 18, 1939. He preceded her in death on April 11, 1963.

Fritzie worked as a crossing guard and in food service at St Mary Grade School. She then worked as a clerk at Tastee Bakery for many years. . After retiring she became a valuable volunteer at Catholic Central school library, and as a Brownie and Girl Scout leader. Fritzie will be remembered for her love of reading, mastering word puzzles, playing Scrabble, and baking chocolate chip cookies. Many were blessed with her gift of cookies!

She was a member of St Mary Catholic Church since 1948, and was a member of the Ladies of St Mary, and also St Elizabeth Auxiliary.

Henrietta is survived by her loving family, sons John (Maribeth) McGinnis, Brookfield; Patrick McGinnis, Appleton; daughters Mary Wilson, Wild Rose; and Kathy (Terry) Noack, Appleton, with whom she lived. Grandchildren: Molly (Norb) Knapke, Glen Ellyn, IL; Michele (Jeff) Muchmore, Glen Ellyn IL; Megan (Eric) Andersen, Flossmore IL; Jessica (Eric) Kubalek, Oshkosh; Jeremy Noack (and special friend Piper), Florida; and 6 great-grandchildren: Sam, Jack, PJ Knapke; Emily and Amanda Muchmore; and Kylie Andersen.

The funeral liturgy for Henrietta will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, May 31, 2003, at ST. MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 312 S. State Street, with Father Michael K. O’Rourke officiating. Burial will be in St Mary Cemetery. Friends and family will be received at the church Saturday morning from 9:30 am until the hour of the mass. A memorial fund will be established for St Mary Parish.
