Reimer, Helen E.

Age 88, of Appleton passed away on Monday., December 13, 2004 at Manor Care in Appleton. She was born on November 24, 1916 in Neenah the daughter of the late Anthony and Clara (Coon) Rhoder. On May 15, 1937 she married Kenneth Riemer at her parents home in Appleton. They enjoyed 68 years together. Helen's faith in God was a very important part of her life. She also enjoyed the Green Bay Packers, and watching John Wayne and Elvis Presley movies.
She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be sadly missed by her husband Kenneth of Appleton, her daughter Barbara (Sheldon) Schneidewend of Menasha her granddaughter Nici (Pete) Palmer of Green Bay;
her grandson Dan (Peggy) Schneidewend and their children Kellen and Hannah all of Milwaukee; a sister Jean (Leo) Getsfried of Appleton; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Clara Mae (Harold) Johnson, a brother Harris Rhoder; and a sister-in-law Velda (Lawrence) Olson.
The funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, December 15, 2004 at 2:00 PM at Bethel Evangelical Lutheran Church, 829 Appleton Road, Menasha, with the Rev. Donald Ninmer officiating. Interment will take place at Highland Memorial Park in Appleton. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 1:00 PM until the time of the service. A memorial fund is being established.
