Age 95, died Monday, November 24, 2003, at Manor Care in Appleton. Hazel was born on August 18, 1908, in Wausau, to the late Everett and Emma (Mahlon) Bethe. Hazel was a longtime employee of Zwicker Knitting Mill and enjoyed sewing. Survivors include her sister, Lorraine Besch, Appleton; her sisters-in-law; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Irma Lutz, and her brothers Stan and Everett Bethe. Graveside funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 1, 2003, at Riverside Cemetery, Appleton. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorials be sent to the charity of your choice.
