Harvey J. Noe

February 15, 1919 — July 9, 2012

Harvey J. Noe, age 93, of Green Bay, passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Bornemann Nursing Home. He was born on February 15, 1919, in Fond du Lac, the son of the late William and Josepha (Eveslage) Noe. During WWII, Harvey served in the U.S. Air Force, including 15 months on Saipan Island in the Pacific. He was a member of the Johnston-Blessman Post 38 American Legion in Appleton. On September 28, 1946, he married Pearl Marvin. They lived in Appleton from 1952 until Pearl passed away in 2003. Harvey worked for the Singer Sewing Machine Company for over 30 years, retiring in December of 1978.

Harvey is survived by his son: Rick (Mary) Noe of Green Bay; grandson: Daniel Noe of Ashwaubenon; granddaughters: Katie (Dusty) Haupt of Marietta, Georgia and Jennifer (Kevin) Haro of Milwaukee; great-granddaughter: Sofia Haro; brother: Eugene Noe of Fond du Lac; sister: Dolores Loche of Wauwatosa and sister-in-law: Genevieve Noe of Charleston, South Carolina. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Harvey was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Noe; granddaughter, Victoria Noe; sisters: Marie (Fred) Richards and Catherine (James) Heaney; brothers: Fr. Marius Noe, OFM Cap., John (Lillian) Noe and Philip Noe; sister-in-law, Florence Noe, and brother-in-law, Robert Loche.

The funeral liturgy for Harvey will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, July 13, 2012 at St. Bernard Congregation, 2040 Hillside Lane, Green Bay. Fr. Mark Vander Steeg will be officiating. Entombment will take place at Highland Memorial Park in Appleton. A visitation will be held on Friday at the church from 1:00 pm until time of mass. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his name. Online condolences may be expressed at www.wichmannfargo.com.
