Harvey E. Brandt

Age 80 of Neenah, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2005 at Vallhaven Care Center in Neenah following a long illness with his loving wife at his side. He was born on September 19, 1924 in the Town of Lessor the son of the late William and Lena (Kuchmidal) Brandt. On June 21, 1980 he married Mildred Harbor. He was employed by Miller Electric Co. for 20 years retiring in 1984. Harvey was a great baseball player and was involved in the Dairyland League and played in Navarino.
He is survived by his wife Mildred of Neenah, his children Brian and his wife Jill Brandt of Oregon, Meredith and her husband Phil Seidl of Eau Claire and their children Emily, Jonathan, and Tristan Seidl; and Amy and her husband Mike Nordlee of Appleton; stepchildren Corbett and his wife Jean Harbor and Greg and his wife Pat Harbor all of Neenah; step grandchildren Nancy and her husband Kurt Jenicek , Melisa and her husband Mark Triggiano and their children Marissa and Boone; and Gregory and his wife Kelly Harbor and their children Alexa and Chance; and Haley and her husband Robert Pankratz and their children Samantha and Sabrina, Corby and his wife Letha Harbor and their children Noah, Nik, and Kaleb; brothers Walter Brandt of Indianapolis, IN, Royal Brandt of Appleton, and Jim and his wife Beatrice Brandt of Bonduel; sisters Esther Oelhoeven of Beaver Dam; and a special niece Jean and her husband Leon Drage. Harvey was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
A memorial service will be conducted on Wednesday, May 11, 2005 at 6:00 PM at Wichmann Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Highland Memorial Park in Appleton. Friends may call at Wichmann Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4:00 PM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
Millie wishes to express their thanks to his brother Royal, and the staff at Vallhaven Care Center in Neenah, and Dr. Scott Kohlbeck and his staff for the special kindness they showed to Harvey.
