Dear Erchul family, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I have so many happy memories of Mrs. Erchul when we lived next door to her. She was always so thoughtful. I use to love babysitting for John & Sara when all of her children came to visit. I still have some of the "teacher items" Grandma Erchul gave to me when I started my first teaching job. It was so nice to grow up next to such kind neighbors! You are in my thoughts and prayers during this time of loss. Kathie Holtz Koball
Lauri Harris left a message on June 5, 2009:
Dear John and family, I was so sorry to hear about Harriet. I enjoyed my visits with her, just wish I could have been there more! She was so kind and gentle. Always thinking of others. It was so hard for Harriet not to be active. She would tell me how much she wished she had the energy to do things. She is lucky to have such a caring family. I know she thought the world of all of you. She taught me about the great coffee McDonalds has. John you did so much for your mom. Harriet was so lucky to have you with her. I have to work for HomeInstead on Sat., so I will not be able to come to the funeral. Please know my prayers are with all of you. I will remember and miss Harriet. Sincerely, Lauri Harris
