To Greg's children, May you know that your father is now at peace. He is with his mother, father, brother and Donna. It is so hard to lose a loved one (my husband passed away 3 months ago) but we have to know that they are all in a better place and there is no pain but joy and peace, I am Greg's cousin Mary (Porto) Johnson and I grew up with Greg. May our Lord hold you tenderly in the palm of His hands.

Sharing a great memory of my dad. I met my dad and his cousin Jim Porto in Hazelhurst, by Minocqua, to go fishing for a few days. Never saw so many eagles in my life; absolutely beautiful! We were all in dad's boat and Jim's line goes straight down. He can barely budge the thing and thought he was caught on a log. He finally got it free and as it came up, we saw a nice size northern and the jerk (as my dad would say) let go of the bass that was on the line. It was a great sight to see and I'm happy to have shared that experience with him!
