Greg, I remember the first day I met you. I was demo-ing at Cub Foods and Karen brought you over to meet me. That must have been 100 years ago. Since that time our friendship grew. We had some bad times, but more good times. I remember the last conversation I had with you. It meant alot to me. I pray for you every day. When I reach the tunnel, be there for me. Thanks Greg, for all the good memories. I\'ll never forget you. All my love, Glady

Greg was one of a kind, taught everyone a little bit on how to live life. As I look back he taught me an awful lot. Was always there for me. Was always there for anyone. How many times would he take the shirt off his back. He never shut his door. Greg enjoyed cooking and feeding people. He fed me many times. What a great cook. So many good times.Greg did have a love for Christ, on more than a couple of occasions we talked. And his heart was open for God.We can rest easy knowing Greg is with our Father in Heaven.I will miss him dearly, will always have a place in my heart. I know I will think of him often. I only wish I could of done more for him, what a friend he was. Love Dave Kerrigan

Our heart felt compassion is with you all. Gregg was, and always will be, very special to us. Yes, he had a big heart, a quick wit and a wonderful sense of humor! He was also humble and had a great desire to please God and be with Him for eternity. We miss Gregg as if a part of us has gone with him; yet we are consoled by the part of him that lives in us… Thank you, Gregg, for your life. Love Dee, Dave, Ryan and Sampson the dog

To know Greg was to know him profoundly - he was definatly an individual. He knew each and every person for their individualism -- Which made him who he is and was. We love and miss you Greg.
Patty Comperini left a message on April 6, 2009:
Hi, I\'m Dee Ehlert\'s sister Patty. I met Greg through Dee and Dave. I also had the priviledge of sharing in Greg\'s spiritual growth by attending the same bible study group. Greg\'s genuine warmth and refreshing honesty about his flaws was inspirational!! He was a man who talked of his love for Karen, his love and respect for Karen\'s mother and how he fought demon\'s and strived to be close to God. He sometimes talked about some ribbing he\'d take from his co-workers and his buddies when he\'d tell them he couldn\'t join them for drinks because he had bible study.:) I only got to really know him over those 4yrs. He would talk as if he knew he\'d die young. He\'d talk sometimes about feeling lonely. I looked around at over 140 people at his service and am saddened he did\'nt realise how many lives he touched. We all should aspire to be like Greg. Not perfect but continueing to be better people!
