Gregg R. LaCroix

December 4, 1945 — January 6, 2004

LaCroix, Gregg Richard

Gregg Richard LaCroix accepted glorious eternal life on January 6, 2004. Gregg was born on December 4, 1945 to the late Harold F. and Vivian A. “Audrey” (Lehr) LaCroix. He was developmentally disabled since birth. Gregg was truly blessed when he was accepted into an Agape group home in 1991 after forty years in two state hospitals.

His community experience allowed him to realize his full potential. Gregg's personality, communication skills, and cognitive capabilities blossomed through his Agape home life and Valley Packaging employment. Gregg was a very sweet man who loved his work experiences and learned to make jokes, get laughs and he savored the attention.

Gregg was preceded in death by his mother and father. He is survived by his brother, Kevin (Joan) and their children Katie and Lauren, Freedom, WI and sister Susan (Louis) Kerns, Milwaukee, and her children, Geoffrey, Megan and Jeremy (JoEllen) Johnson and their daughter Morgan. Gregg is further survived by many special friends at Agape and Valley Packaging including his special friend Carla.

Funeral services for Gregg will be held at the funeral home at 5:30 pm, Thursday, January 8, 2004, with Reverend Rex Rinne officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Oshkosh. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3:30 pm, Thursday, until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Agape, 7 Tri-Park Way, Appleton, 54914.

The family wishes to express deep appreciation to all who made Gregg's life a joyous one, most importantly: Agape and Valley Packaging staff. A special thank you to the staff of AMC 4 North.
