Grace A Funk

Grace Funk, 98 passed away on October 31, 2016 in Oshkosh. Grace was born on April 6, 1918 to Adam and Elizabeth (Kahlfus) Schwartzbauer. In November of 1939 she married Eugene Funk and he preceded her in death on February 12, 1993. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church of Menasha. She was a former member of The Lion's Club and the Neenah-Menasha Elks Lodge 676. She was employed many years with Babe Van Camp's Supper Club as a Server, Hostess and Bar Maid until she retired. She enjoyed playing golf, traveling and reading.
She will be sadly missed by her children: Jim and Emily Funk, Sharon and Pat Harkins and Tom Funk and Patty Keuck, grandchildren Lisa Steidl, Kirk and Beth Funk, Jason and Rachel Harkins, Kimberly and Charles Pelky and Matt and Sarah Funk, ten great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Funk, her parents, two brothers Ralph Schwartzbauer and Edward (Ruth) Schwartzbauer, two sisters, Rose (Fred) Hochholzer and Mary Schwartzbauer.
Visitation for Grace will be on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 from 9:00am to 11:00am at Wichmann-Laemmrich Funeral Home in Menasha. Funeral Services for Grace will be at the funeral home at 11:00am. The family would like to thank the staff and nurses of Parkview Health Center, Prairieside, 2nd floor for the care given to Grace.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established. Donations will be used to help fund Alzheimer's Disease research.
