Gladys Wolf

November 19, 1921 — October 1, 2012

Gladys E Wolf, age 90, of Appleton, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 1, 2012, at the Appleton Retirement Community. Glady was born on November 19, 1921 in Appleton, daughter of the late Grover and Bertha Cotton. She married the love of her life, Clement “Bud” Wolf, on February 16, 1946 at Zion Lutheran Church. Glady and Bud spent 66 wonderful years together traveling Wisconsin and Florida, dining with friends and spending time with family. Family was everything to her. She enjoyed special family get togethers at Christmas and spending time at Lake Noquebay.

Gladys leaves behind her loving husband, Bud Wolf and her daughter Barbara (Steve) Alstad. She is further survived by her two granddaughters, Heidi (Jesse) Funk and Nicole (Aaron) Stark; four great grandchildren Addison and Charlotte Funk and Mason and Madison Stark; and her sister-in-law, Elaine Cotton. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Robert (Marie), Howard (Virginia), Walter (Marjorie) and John Cotton; and her brother-in-law William (Bernice) Page.

A funeral service for Glady will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at OUR SAVIOUR'S LUTHERAN CHURCH (3009 N Meade Street, Appleton) Reverends Kurt Hoffman and Dee Sim officiating. The Wolf family would like to thank the staff and nurses at Appleton Retirement Community and Southern Care Hospice for their loving care of Gladys. Memorials in Gladys's name to Our Saviour's Lutheran Church appreciated.
