Dear Mr. Peterson, Peggy, Pat and all the family... my heartfelt condolences on the recent loss of your wife/mother. I can honestly say that some of my favorite childhood memories are of time spent visiting at your home & cottage. How fortunate I was to have known her, and to have had you all for neighbors! She will be dearly missed & so fondly remembered.

My son Mike was fortunate enough to marry Peggy, Gladys & Pete's daughter, consequently inheriting a wonderful, close knit family of in-laws. Pete & Gladys were a true example of "til death do us part" & Pete blessed Gladys w/all his love & care. I am happy they have been part of my life. My sympathy to all.

I am one of the fortunate people that knew Gladys for many years. She was my best friend's Mom. I felt like she was my other Mom and Pete my other Dad.I spent many years up at their cottage. Gladys and Pete always made you feel like it was your home too. Gladys was always in the kitchen making something good. I loved her honesty and sweet smile. Whenever I came to Appleton Peggy and I would go over to their apartment. Right until the end she knew who I was and again made me feel like I was at home. I will miss her so very much. I am glad that I met Peggy so that I could have her in my life. Have fun in heaven Gladys. I love you!
