LARSON, GLADYS F.

Gladys F. Larson died on August 5, 2011 following a short illness. She was born on November 26, 1917 in Green Bay, to Martin and Viola Van Lishout. Gladys was a long-standing member of West Side Moravian Church. She worked many years in Bellin Hospital Accounting, and thoroughly enjoyed her retirement years, frequently traveling with her friend, Evelyn.

She is survived by two daughters: Karen Lugenbeel, Green Bay and Susan (Don) Kemps, Stockbridge; daughter-in-law: Emelie Larson, Fayetteville, North Carolina. Gladys is further survived by numerous loving grand and great grandchildren, nieces and a nephew.

She was preceded in death by her father during the Great Spanish Flu Pandemic, her mother; her son, Lynn, and her brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Verna Van Lishout.

According to Gladys' wishes, a private service will be held. The family is sincerely grateful to Calumet County Hospice for their expertise, kindness and comfort.
